Growing In The Gardens: Fall 2025

Florence Joliff, EB Garden Specialist
Kindergarten students have been busy, immersed in curious exploration of our school garden: counting cocoons, monitoring milkweed, sorting seeds, and of course enjoying our own sweet mini apples. Enjoy a delightful photo journal from Garden Specialist, Florence Joliff with some special (and adorable!) moments from their studies so far this fall.

Looking for dry seeds in our garden and sorting them

Eating our delicious mini apples from our garden

We are studying colors in both languages and understanding why butterflies have so many colors

We talk a lot about our monarch life cycle and milkweed

We love looking at our milkweed full of monarch caterpillars: this year is an amazing year with 29 cocoons counted in one day… hanging everywhere including our compost trash!
