Community Events

EB’s community is at the heart of our school experience. All parents are warmly invited to join in as active members of this diverse, fun, and inclusive group. Parents can make friends, volunteer, attend events, and show school spirit by participating in the activities listed here. Bienvenue!

Welcome Breakfast

All parents are invited to attend our Welcome Breakfast on the first day of school to meet administrators and fellow parents.

World Celebrations Potluck

Sunday, October 4, 2020

We are fortunate to have over 60 nationalities in our school community. World Celebrations showcases the many diverse cultures represented at EB. Stay tuned for more details!

Halloween Parade

A favorite EB tradition, the Halloween Parade features all our students in costume, marching from the Lower to the Middle School, and culminating in a show performed by the 8th grade Drama students. Don’t miss the photo ops!

Family & Friends day (Preschool-G4)

Family members (including grand parents!) and friends of students in Preschool, Kindergarten, grades 1, 2, 3 and 4 are warmly invited in their child's classroom followed by a winter show in the multi-purpose room. Students will organize events in their classroom about the holidays on Wednesday, December 18.

Gourmet Week takes place during our students' Semaine du Goût, and features an online auction with the best in local, artisanal gourmet foods, lifestyle goods, and activities.

Student Run-A-Thon

This new fundraiser, established just last year, gets students involved at every grade level and promotes a healthy lifestyle for both students and families. Parents can cheer on their children as they run, walk, skip, or jump their way around the course on the Lower School campus!

The annual gala, an evening of dinner, dancing, and enthusiastic bidding, takes place at the Claremont Country Club in Rockridge. The gala gives parents a chance to dress up and socialize while contributing to the school’s second largest fundraising event.

La Place du Marché

La Place du Marché is both a community-building event and a fundraiser where the school transforms into a French marketplace with live music, games, vendors, and great food. The entire community comes together for a day of fun.

First Friday Coffees

Beginning on Friday, October 2

Parents, Parents' Association (PA) members, and administrators join in a casual morning gathering with conversation, coffee, and pastries on the first Friday of every month.

If you have any questions regarding these events or want to get involved, please contact Gaelle Feliz, Development Coordinator, at gfeliz@eb.org. To volunteer, contact the Parents’ Association (askpa@eb.org (link sends e-mail)) or sign up on the Parent Portal.
