Thank you for your interest in Ecole Bilingue de Berkeley!

We are now accepting applications for the 2022-23 school year!

Because of the higher number of Covid infections, we have decided to keep our admission events virtual for the time being. You can now book a virtual info session for Preschool, Kindergarten/TK or Middle School International track. 
We hope to be able to welcome our prospective families on campus later in the year and will let you know when this will become possible.

  • What to Expect from the Admission Process

    1. Create your account: Once you fill out the inquiry form, the admission team will connect with you. You will create an account in our password protected parent portal, and you will have access to our application form. 

    2. Fill out your application form

    3. Go through the admission process.

    Depending on the age of your child, the admission process will be different:

  • If you are applying for a preschooler (2, 3 or 4 years old):

    In order to complete the application process, you will need to:
    • Upload a photo of your child
    • Upload a family photo
    • Schedule your family interview*
    *Some of our admissions steps traditionally take place on campus, but are virtually scheduled for now. Once we're able to return on campus, we'll keep you posted about any changes in our admission process. Thank you for your understanding.
  • If you are applying for TK or Kindergarten:

    In order to complete the application process, you will need to:
    • Upload a photo of your child
    • Upload a family photo
    • Schedule your family interview*
    • Fill out the BADA form and return it to the Admission Office
    • Organize a time for your child to participate in a group observation session* in February.

  • If you are applying for Grade 6 International Track:

    In order to complete the application process, you will need to:
    • Upload a photo of your child
    • Upload a family photo
    • Schedule your family interview*
    • Schedule your child's 1/2 day visit* with Middle School Head, Mr. Richard Lyon
    • Fill out the BADA form and return it to the Admission Office
    • Request transcripts from your previous school for 2020/21 school year and first semester of 2021/2022 school year

  • If you are applying for Grade 1 to Grade 8 (Bilingual track):

    In order to complete the application process, you will need to:
    • Upload a photo of your child
    • Upload a family photo
    • Schedule your child’s assessment* with the academic team 
    • Fill out the BADA form and return it to the Admission Office
    • Request transcripts from your previous school for 2020/21 school year and first semester of 2021/2022 school year

  • Acceptance

    Acceptance notifications will be sent to parents by email on Thursday, March 10, 2022 (Preschool) and on Thursday, March 17, 2022 (Kindergarten - Grade 8). If accepted into Ecole Bilingue de Berkeley and offered a contract, families must return their electronically signed enrollment agreements along with a 10% deposit of the annual tuition, before Thursday March 24th, 2022 at 10 a.m.
