Applying for Tuition Assistance
EB is firmly committed to inclusivity. To help achieve it, we dedicate a generous amount (15%) of the school’s tuition and fees to need-based tuition assistance. Between 35% and 40% of EB students receive tuition assistance depending on the year.
Deadline to Apply
Current Families
Current EB families who wish to apply or reapply for Tuition Assistance for the 2023-24 school year should complete a new Parents' Financial Statement by January 15, 2023.
New Families
While there are is no set deadline for applicants, we strongly encourage you to apply for tuition assistance at the same time as you apply for school. In this way, we can inform you of your award at the same time as the decision on your child's admission. Families should keep in mind that the later an application is submitted, the greater the risk that the tuition assistance budget may be exhausted.
By submitting your application and supporting documents by the dates listed below, you enable us to inform you of the Tuition Assistance Committee’s decision at the same time, or before, EB’s decision on admission. In turn, this will allow you to make an informed decision about enrollment.

EB uses School and Student Services (SSS) to process applications for tuition assistance.
Based on the financial information you provide, this service gives the school an estimated amount that your family can contribute to educational expenses. This helps our school to make fair and objective decisions regarding tuition assistance.
For divorced or separated families, each parent must file a separate Parents’ Financial Statement with SSS. Each parent must include the revenues and assets of their new family.
Create a login and follow the instructions to complete a Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS). EB’s school code is 2954.
We suggest you gather the following documents, as they will be requested from families when applying for tuition assistance on SSS:
Copy of your 2022 Federal income tax return (1040) with all schedules (to be submitted by February 15, 2023 for returning families).
Copy of your 2022 W2 (to be submitted by February 15, 2023 for returning families).
If you own a business, you’ll need to complete and submit the following:
Sole proprietors: copy of the 2022 schedule C
Partnerships: copy of the 2022 K1 and the 2022 1065 Federal tax return
Partners in S-corporations: copy of the 2022 K1 and the 2022 1120S Federal tax return
Documents must be uploaded to the SSS site or sent by mail. Please do not send your supporting documents to EB. We reserve the right to request additional documents if necessary to establish the financial situation of a family.
