Supporting one another in times of need has always been a part of the EB spirit. Our families have been generous, helpful, and kind from the very beginning… and it’s never been more needed than now.
Our community is the heart of our school, and we want to do all we can to ensure it stays vibrant and strong through this crisis. To assist families who are experiencing economic hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the school is launching the Ecole Bilingue Solidarity Fund. Donations to the EB Solidarity Fund will be used to provide emergency tuition assistance to support current and returning families experiencing unexpected financial difficulties; we will get through this together.
We understand that some families may not be in a position to make a charitable gift at this time. Others, however, have asked how they can help. If that is you, please consider a donation that will support our families and keep our beloved EB family whole.
How do I Donate to the Solidarity Fund?
There are several ways to contribute to the Solidarity Fund:
1. Make a direct gift to the fund
We ask families to consider what they may have given overall to our springtime fundraisers (Fund for the Future, Gala, Marché) as a starting basis for their donation as we have canceled these events and seek to focus our efforts on this needed endeavor.
2. Direct your reimbursement to the fund
Families who are eligible to receive reimbursements for canceled trips, camps, and aftercare are encouraged to consider donating those funds (or a percentage thereof) to the Solidarity Fund. Fill in the form here.
3. Apply for a matching gift
Many companies are extending their corporate matching programs so you may be eligible for a matching gift even if you have already received one. Learn more here.
Please note that all donations are tax-deductible and gifts at all levels are warmly welcome.
