Financial Assistance

EB is firmly committed to inclusivity. To help achieve it, we dedicate a generous amount (16%) of the school’s operating budget to need-based tuition assistance. 42% of EB families received financial assistance from the school in 2019-2020.

Deadline to Apply

Current Families

If you are a current EB family applying for financial assistance, the deadline to apply is January 15, 2020

New Families

First-time applicants are strongly encouraged to apply for financial assistance at the same time than they apply to the school so that they can be informed of their award at the same time as the decision on admission. Families should keep in mind that the later an application is sent, the greater the risk that the financial assistance budget will have been exhausted.

By submitting your application and supporting documents by the dates listed below, you enable us to inform you of the Financial Assistance Committee’s decision at the same time or before EB’s decision on admission. Then you can make an informed decision on where to send your child for school.

EB uses School and Student Services (SSS) to process financial assistance applications. SSS is a service of the National Association of Independent Schools.

Based on the financial information you provide, this service gives the school an estimated amount that your family can contribute to educational expenses. This helps our school to make fair and objective financial aid decisions.

For divorced or separated families, each parent must file a separate Parents’ Financial Statement with SSS. Each parent must include the revenues and assets of their new family.

Create a login and follow the instructions to complete a Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS). EB’s school code is 2954.
