Graduating EB students are headed to 18 different high schools and 20% of them are continuing with a French or bilingual education.

Congratulations to the 8th grade Class of 2019 on their highly successful completion of the high school process! They have been a wonderful group of students, who have enthusiastically, and with much courage, embraced the often difficult and stressful task of selecting a high school! It is rewarding to see each of the students gravitate to a high school that reflects their special interests, talents, and intellectual curiosity.

The high standards that this group of students had for themselves is reflected in the high schools they will be attending. Out of our thirty-four 8th graders, twenty-two applied to private schools as an option. Most students received multiple acceptances if they applied to more than one school. Below is the list of high schools where our 8th graders chose to attend:

  • College Preparatory School
  • Bishop O’Dowd High School (3)
  • El Cerrito High School (2)
  • International High School (4)
  • Saint Mary’s College High School (4)
  • Holderness Academy (Boarding School NH)
  • Berkeley High School (7)
  • Albany High School
  • San Francisco School of the Arts
  • Marin Academy
  • Lycée Marie Curie (France)
  • Sainte-Croix des Neiges (France)
  • Skyline High School
  • Head-Royce School
  • Collège-Lycée Honoré de Balzac (France)
  • Alameda High School
  • Marin Academy
