The International Track officially opened at the Middle School this year. For the first time in the history of the Middle School, it was able to welcome students this year to 6th grade who has no previous knowledge of French.

Of course, by now this is no longer the case for the three International Track students as they have been taking French six times a week since the beginning of September and are quickly acquiring French vocabulary and the ability to engage in basic conversations. The new students have integrated well into the EB community, and have been welcomed wholeheartedly by the bilingual track students.

The International Track students have the opportunity to take most of their English classes with the other two 6th grade classes, which has aided greatly in their adjustment to a new school and new program, while they enjoy the individualized attention they receive in French, math, social studies and specialized English classes. The International Track students have offered a welcome injection of enthusiasm, energy and wonder to the Middle School.
