Tuition Assistance

Inclusivity is one of EB’s core value and one of the way we achieve diversity is by dedicating a generous amount (16%) of the school’s operating budget to need-based tuition assistance. Read below to learn more about how to apply to the tuition assistance program.

Login or Sign-up to School and Student Services

EB uses School and Student Services (SSS) to process tuition assistance applications. SSS is a service of the National Association of Independent Schools. Based on the financial information you provide, this service gives the school an estimated amount that your family can contribute to educational expenses. This helps our school make fair and objective financial aid decisions.

To apply for EB’s internal tuition assistance, please visit this page and follow the instructions to complete a Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS). EB’s school code is 2954.

For divorced or separated families, each parent must file a separate Parents’ Financial Statement with SSS. Each parent must include the revenues and assets of their new family. Supporting documents, if necessary, must be sent directly to School and Student Services electronically or by snail mail.

Application Process

Application for admissions and for tuition assistance should happen at approximately the same time. In other words, please do not wait for your admission acceptance letter to apply for financial aid and vice versa.

By submitting your application and supporting documents by the dates listed below, you will allow EB to inform you of the Financial Aid Committee’s decision at the same time or before the School’s decision on admission, thus allowing you to make an informed decision.

If you are a current EB family applying for tuition assistance, the deadlines listed below are firm. New applicants have more leeway and if they apply after that date, the school will still make every effort to inform you of the Financial Aid Committee’s decision at the same time as the School’s decision on admission, but cannot guarantee that it will be able to. In addition, the later an application is sent, the greater the risk that the financial aid budget will have been exhausted.

Documents to submit by January 15, 2018 (this deadline is firm for returning applicants, not new families)

  • Parents’ Financial Statement

  • a completed, signed and undated form 4506-T “Request for Transcript of tax return”. Choose option 6-a (return transcript).
