INTRODUCTION
EB offers its students not only a well-balanced program that combines the best of the French and American educational approaches, but also a wide range of services to enrich their educational experience.
The curriculum in each grade is delicately integrated so that French and English instruction complement each other. The French educational system divides the primary grades into three cycles:
Cycle 1 (preschool and K);
Cycle 2: (K-1-2);
Cycle 3 (3-4-5).
Middle School constitutes the entrance in Cycle 4.
Each step is tailored for children’s individual development and language acquisition. Time spent inside the classroom is balanced by exploration of the surrounding community through our many field trips and our community service program.
And of course, we offer a full range of support to children and families: extended day care and after-school enrichment classes, counseling, individual support in French, learning specialist, and a bilingual media center that all families can access.
