LUNCH SERVICE
Our lunch service provider is KidChow.
We use Kid Chow's services because:
- Kid Chow offers a wide variety of choices every day. You and your child can choose from among 15 entrees (hot or cold), over 30 sides, and optional drinks.
- The ingredients are fresh and natural. Kid Chow uses organic products as much as possible, and always serves seasonal, local produce as well as hormone and nitrite-free meats and trans-fat-free snacks.
- The online ordering process is simple and convenient. You can order lunch every day, or only a few days a month, as long as orders are placed at least seven days in advance.
- Prices are reasonable. Lunches are $5.00 for PreK to second grade, $5.50 for third to fifth grade, and $6.00 for middle school.
- You can personalize your order. The web-based ordering system allows you to specify which type of bread or how much mayonnaise to put in a sandwich, which flavor of yogurt your child wants, etc.
- Portion sizes are age-appropriate. Whether your child is a dainty preschooler or a ravenous middle schooler, they will receive enough food for a filling lunch with minimal leftovers.
- Packaging is environmentally friendly. Most food is wrapped in paper, aluminum foil, or cornstarch-based “plastic” wrap. Utensils are compostable, too!
- Kid Chow serves a number of Bay Area schools and summer camps, including FAIS, La Pérouse and Cal Summer Camps.
