Donate to Our Fundraising Events!
Several of EB’s community events are also important fundraisers for the school.
EB’s annual Auction, held in March/April, includes dinner, dancing, and enthusiastic bidding on a wide array of Auction offerings. The Auction is our largest fundraiser of the year, and usually draws well over 200 guests.
La Place du Marché, held in late May/early June, recreates the bustle of a French street market in the school courtyard and is an immensely popular family and community event. Every year, over 1,000 people come to shop for French-made and French-inspired products, including food, housewares, jewelry, and books. Children can participate in traditional games and crafts while their parents enjoy food and wine at the Marché Bistro. Not to be missed!
EB’s Raffle drawing is held the afternoon of the Marché, and tickets are sold all over the Bay Area.
Each of these events has considerable advertising potential. Both the Auction and the Marché/Raffle have printed programs, and the donor lists and advertisements placed in them will be seen by over 1,000 people. Donor lists are also mentioned on the web site and in the Annual Report.
Money raised at these events goes directly to the critical needs of the school. It supports the education of our students through financial aid, teachers’ salaries, and support for academic programs.
