All of our faculty members bring a passion for what they do to every classroom encounter. In the Maternelle, teachers and assistants create a gentle, welcoming environment where children are gradually prepared for a more structured academic setting. In the primary grades, teachers encourage curiosity, creativity, and hands-on learning while helping students develop a sense of responsibility, self-reliance, and pride in the quality of their work. At the Middle School, teachers foster an academically challenging and socially supportive atmosphere.

EB’s faculty has lived and worked all over the world, and brings an impressive breadth of experience and an international perspective to their teaching. All of the teachers in our French program hold credentials from the French Ministry of Education, and all are native speakers. All of the teachers in our English program are fully credentialed as well. Teachers at our Middle School hold single-subject credentials in the subject they teach, and our art, music, gardening, and PE programs are likewise taught by specialists.

Teachers in the French and English programs work together to make their curricula dovetail, and frequently collaborate on innovative interdisciplinary projects so that children will enjoy the full benefits of a bilingual program.
