Douglas Mann joined the administrative team at EB in July, 2004.  He has almost 30 years of independent school experience and has served in a variety of administrative positions serving the needs of faculty, parents, and students.  In addition to his administrative experience, he has extensive experience teaching both English and math courses to upper elementary and middle school students.  Doug holds an undergraduate degree from Lafayette College and a Master’s degree from Drew University.

Thierry Durandard has worked at Ecole Bilingue since 1988. He started teaching Kindergarten from 1988 to 1993 before becoming the Director of Admissions from 1993 to 1997. Following a year in France, Thierry came back to teach Mid-Kindergarten and to ensure the coordination of the pre-primary program in 1998-2001. Thierry is now the Assistant head for the French program. Besides his preschool and elementary school credential, Thierry holds a bachelor’s degree in French and Italian from the University of Chambery.

Sara Nickles is administrative assistant at the lower school, and speaks French. Sara lives in Berkeley with her husband, originally from Paris, and her middle-school-aged daughter. Saar's organizational skills, her love of children, and her delightful personality are a terrific addition to the school.

My name is William Garner. Everyone calls me Will at the school and wherever I go. Recently relocating back to the US, after living and working abroad the past 25 years, My 2 children and I have settled down in San Pablo, a small suburb of Richmond. I am a single parent of 2 beautiful children, both Danish-American nationals, who attend Ecole Bilingue as well. My daughter Cecilia graduated from EB in 2005, while my son Sonny is a 8th grader. An ex professional athlete, trilingual, when I'm not behind the desk at Ecole Bilingue, I enjoy all sports, being with my children, cooking and working out, which I do every morning with a wake up call of 4:45.
